Odiesport is a brand of ODIESPORT LLC, operating as a compact, owner-led studio. The founder, Laurie May Carter, established the company with a focus on simple, repeatable routines over sheer scale. This approach ensures that parts are staged, fits are consistently checked, and finished pieces are released without delay. This owner-led model allows for short paths between benches and fast hand-offs from finishing to packing.

Odiesport serves customers who value longevity, thoughtful design, and full transparency. Our clients seek furniture built to last and to be repaired, not replaced. Every order ships with plain-language load guidance and installation cards for all common wall substrates (drywall, brick, block, and concrete), ensuring simple, solid installation.

Sourcing and Craftsmanship

Odiesport’s operational strength lies in its meticulous process and reliable sourcing. The company builds exclusively in high-quality hardwoods—white oak, American black walnut, ash, and hard maple—selected for their stability and warm hand-feel.

• Materials: Lumber is purchased through established American mills and distributors with documented custody. Boards are matched for tone, acclimated in the shop, and milled on calibrated machines so components meet cleanly.

• Hardware: Hinges, slides, and fittings come from respected makers with United States operations, including Blum, Accuride, Hafele, Sugatsune, and KV. Odiesport maintains bench stock for replacements and rush builds.

• Process: The entire process, from tape layout to sealed crate, is conducted under one roof. Odiesport proves proportions with mockups before any cut is made. Joinery, including mortise and tenon and floating tenons, is chosen to allow the wood to move naturally without stress.

Execution and Service

Odiesport maintains an exceptionally organized workflow. Core models are kept ready on organized racks. When an in-stock piece is selected, Odiesport confirms, inspects, boxes, and hands the parcel to the carrier within the same working day. A traveler card accompanies each piece, recording its passage through every stage, including dry fit and final assembly. Corners, diagonals, and critical dimensions are recorded, and no crate is sealed without a named sign-off. Odiesport provides prompt service, with all messages receiving a reply on the next working day.
